We’re so glad to have you join us.
Here are some handy links to help you take advantage of your membership:

(Note that you’ll have to be Logged in to take advantage of many of these. If you see “For Members” in the top menu you are logged in. Otherwise, choose “Login” from the top menu and enter your user name and password. This post is under For Members>Website Help if you want to find it again)

Learn new things, socialize:

  • Come to a General Meeting. Here are some tips on Zooming if you haven’t done much of it. The Zoom links are on the Event Calendar. You have to log in first to see member-only links.
  • Contact a Member via our private Members’ Facebook Group or find them in the Members’ Contact List (under “for Members”)
  • Be a part of our Yearly Events as a volunteer, vendor or customer:
    • Gathering of the Guilds (May)
    • Open Studio tours in Portland (September), Seattle (October) and …
    • Summer Picnic (August)
    • Vendor Fair
    • Holiday Party and white elephant exchange (December)

If you sell your work or give classes:

  • Add yourself to the Members’ Gallery
  • Get listed on the “Find a Teacher” page by logging-in and filling out the form at the bottom of the page

Account changes and organizational stuff:

  • Take advantage of the discounts our Sponsors offer to our members
  • You are automatically signed up to get the member-exclusive Classifieds, a few Member-only News emails, the Newsletter, and the weekly public news. You can also sign up for Guild Business emails if you are interested in Board meetings etc. Get as many (or as few) of these Guild emails as you want by editing your email prefs
  • Volunteer on one of our teams
  • If you log-in before touring the website you’ll see added information, especially in the classifieds and the education section. Plus you have access to the website help files like this one.
