Email: Controlling What You Get from Us
The Guild sends out email through five different categories: 1) nearly monthly Newsletter, 2) news and event reminders in Weekly Public News, 3) Classifieds, 4) Member News, and 5) Guild Business. Detailed definitions are at the bottom of the page.
Which of these you receive is controlled in your “My Account” page (under the For Members menu after you log in) in a pair of settings on the “email prefs” tab.
ContinuedMembers’ Gallery: Adding your work
NOTE: For your Gallery profile entry to display to others you must turn it on in your “My Account” settings (see step 4 below). You can do that first but we suggest you wait until all your images are loaded and text finalized before doing so, otherwise you’ll be showing off your work half finished. You must also have at least a cover photo and a profile image loaded before your entry will show up.

Our webmaster manages the website’s technical resources and behaviors (in the “back end”) that support the messages and content (on the “front end”). The actual content is created and managed by the members of various organizational teams of volunteers. You need basic familiarity with WordPress back-end and ability to follow the WordPress release notes and comments to decide when to apply an upgrade. You don’t need to know it ALL already because the creator of the website is willing to provide a bit of free coaching.
