July 24-26 Bellevue Arts Fair, Bellevue, WA: This long-running art fair includes 3 members who were selected by a rigorous jury process to participate. Check out their booths and say hello if you are in the area next weekend.
August 1 Mid-Willamette Valley Glass Art Show & Sale, Independence, OR: Guild Sponsor Maganda Glass is filling their spacious parking lot with artist’s booths for this first-ever event. Stop by and visit with the participating artists and Maganda staff.
August 8 Glass Play Day, Seattle, WA: Karen Seymour is once again opening her studio to local glass artists to experiment with glass techniques. Come learn, share, and break glass together.
August 15: Guild Picnic, Fairview, OR: If you are in the Portland area, spend a fun afternoon connecting with fellow glass artists over great food and conversation at Margie Rieff’s home. Everyone is welcome.
August 15-16 Fresh Paint Festival, Everett, WA: Visit with Guild member Mel Williams and explore the Schack Art Center’s biggest summer festival.
