Don’t miss the upcoming Guild General Meeting on Sunday, May 17th at 3:30 pm. Guild member Milo Snyder will share his unique approach to cast glass, and how to use digital fabrication and casting techniques to create complex glass forms that shape light and atmosphere. have decided that it is time for me to move on to my next chapter. With a mix of pride and
nostalgia, I am reaching out to share that Melt Glass Art Supply is officially for sale.
As many of you know, Melt is more than just a retail space; it is a hub for education and a
home for artists. Over the last decade and a half, I have poured my heart into creating a
space where creativity thrives and high-quality supplies are accessible.
What I am looking for:
My primary goal is to find a successor who understands the value of the community we’ve
built. I am looking for a buyer who is ready to step into this role within the next year—

Kiln Carving will be discussed on May 5, 2024 at 3:30 pm
Via Zoom join us as speakers Greta Schneider, Rae Williamson and Carlyne Lynch share the process of kiln carving, which involves cutting a pattern or design in ceramic fiber paper and stacking glass on top of the pattern and firing the piece in a kiln.

BARN (Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network) on Bainbridge Island, WA is hosting PNWGG member Cheryl Chapman’s Reverse Glass Enameling Workshop at the end of July. You can learn her techniques for painting on glass using high fire glass enamels. Learn what mediums to use, brushes, tools, kiln firings, etc. all while creating a piece with a design of your choosing along with sample pieces to take home. No experience necessary and all tools/materials are provided for you.
