Show off your glass skills!
There is still time to sign up to demonstrate a glass art technique at Art in the Pearl over Labor Day weekend (September 5th, 6th, and 7th). There are 50-60 thousand people who attend the show. This is an amazing opportunity to show off your glass skills and introduce people to your work! It’s absolutely free, and you don’t need to pack and haul a bunch of stuff or put up a display – just bring yourself and the tools and glass you need to demonstrate a particular skill or technique. The Guild will have the table all ready for you.
Here are the key details for the event:
- Purpose & Demos: The booth is strictly dedicated to demonstrating glass art techniques (e.g., stained glass techniques, mosaic building, glass cutting, vitrigraph, glass blowing, mold making, etc. We would love to showcase a wide variety of glass art forms!
- Guidelines: No items may be sold on-site. However, we are encouraged to display finished sample pieces and distribute PNWGG informational flyers, Open Studios postcards, teacher lists, and personal business cards.
- Schedule & Shifts: We will have 3 shifts on Saturday (9/5), 3 shifts on Sunday (9/6), and 2 shifts on Monday (9/7).
