December 6th at 5pm: Dinner at Linda Gerrard’s in Beaverton OR (RSVP to Linda at pnwggholidayparty@gmail.com BY TODAY Nov 25th to get the address, and tell her who and what you’re bringing so she can coordinate the food)
December 14th at 11 am: Potluck Brunch at Karen Seymour’s in Seattle WA (RSVP to Karen by that Sunday morning so she has enough chairs etc. and she can tell you the secret to parking across the street at the church)
And if you’re looking for the perfect gift, consider giving your favorite glass artist a membership to the PNW Glass Guild.

Australian artist, Dr. Helen Bodycomb, will share her new book, Mosaicism – Thinking in Mosaic on May 13, 2024 at 7:00 pm via Zoom.
Enhance your practice and grow your thinking. Come hear visiting Australian mosaicist Dr Helen Bodycomb speak about some of the evolutionary drivers that sit behind our urge to make mosaic, and other compelling ideas from her new book, Mosaicism – Thinking in Mosaic.
You can also meet Helen in-person at Marvelous Mosaic on May 13th, 5:00-7:00 pm. Marvelous Mosaic is hosting Helen with an open studio and refreshments at 64535 Columbia River Hwy, Deer Island, OR 97054 on May 13th, 5:00-7:00. Come meet Helen, purchase her book and get it signed. Marvelous Mosaic’s vitrigraph products, tools and supplies will be for sale at a discounted price for Guild members during this event.
In-person and zoom: Margie Reiff is hosting a Sherlocking meeting at her house on Wednesday May 21st at 6:30 pm Pacific time. Sherlocking is glass forensics: figuring out from the result why the glass did that. Bring one of your glass pieces and get feedback from your fellow “Glassies.” Bringing hearty appetizers is also encouraged.
We will also try to put this on Zoom. Please let Margie know if you are coming. Give Margie a call for her address 503 358-2551. Non-members are welcome!

Join Margie Rieff Wednesday night March 26th at 6:30 for a Sherlocking meeting. Bring one of your glass pieces and get feedback. Bring an appetizer to share. Please send Margie an email if you are attending.
Come and talk glass. We’ve got 3 potluck picnics scheduled so far. Come to all 3 if you can. Spouses and non-member glass friends are also welcome. Please contact the host to let them know you’re planning to attend so they have enough chairs etc. — it makes it so much easier for the host if they can get it set up in advance.
