Kat Hartley, long-time Uroboros rep, has died. She was was loved by OGG members and many others in the international glass community. Kat’s obituary was published in the Oregonian on Friday 8/4. Her Memorial Service will be Saturday August 12th at 1pm. 8065 Southeast Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97202 (look out for the lime green balloons). The service will be next door to C.H.A.P. (Children’s Healing Art Project https://chappdx.org/). After her memorial C.H.A.P will be serving pie in her honor. If you would like to make or bring a pie that would be lovely and you can drop it off on your way in. Please wear your colorful best, or Kat’s favorite lime green. And for those artists or declutterers among us, C.H.A.P would be delighted to accept any unused art supplies. Thank you
