Booth at Margie’s Farm and Garden’s Fall Market

The Guild has four 12’x12′ booth spaces in the retail greenhouse that are reserved for our glass artists at Margie’s Farm and Garden‘s Fall Market. Margie’s is at 12844 Arndt Rd NE, Aurora OR 97002. There will be over 50 vendors at this free event which has plenty of free parking. The Guild booths are indoors so you don’t need a tent! Get some glass friends together and share a booth. Topic will be how to use scrap glass. Get inspiration from other people’s projects and contribute your own. Our speakers will be  Lyn Kennison and Shirley Bishop.

Lyn has been doing glass for 20 years starting with stained glass . She makes jewelry as well as functional & nonfunctional art. She creates lots of  scraps and  has  been chopping up & refiring pieces she doesn’t  like. She will be sharing how she makes thick pieces with scrap & then what she does with them afterwards. 

Shirley has been creating glass for 10 years and opened  Studio13 Glass Art  in 2013. She loves creating with glass and teaching others. She will share how she uses scraps in creative ways.
